Why start a blog?

As a frequent traveler, I have run across some bizarre situations, mind blowing actions by fellow travelers, and hilarious moments I want to remember forever.  As the years have gone by, some of these have slipped my mind and by blogging, it will allow me to keep record for myself and provide some entertainment for readers.
